After 37 years of providing engineering, surveying and architectural services in Tahoe and the Central Sierra communities I have retired. The K.B.Foster Civil Engineering Inc. office has closed although I have archived almost all the drawings and digital data created by our office and they are generally available, simply email office@kbfoster.com to inquire.

I am very pleased to have been a significant part of the growth and maturation of this wonderful community. We have provided the design and construction management for some of the very important infrastructure and beautification improvements to our part of the Sierra.

I have had the pleasure of employing many young engineers, surveyors and technicians over the years and each of them have in some way helped me to become a better engineer. Most of these employees have gone on to be a professional part of our community and many have become better at their field of expertize than I could ever be. Thank you for supporting a small engineering business for almost 4 decades. I am a very happy retired civil engineer and will remain involved in our community in whatever way I can.
