Description of Work:
K.B.Foster Civil Engineering, Inc. prepared the topographic survey, preliminary design and feasibility report. Construction documents, all agency approvals, and provided complete construction management for the Crystal Bay Utilities Undergrounding Project for Washoe County. The project improved aesthetics and reliability of utility service in Crystal Bay, Nevada.

Approximately 3,500 lineal feet of existing overhead utilities were placed underground. The project required approvals from numerous agencies including TRPA, NDOT, Caltrans, Placer County, Washoe County, Sierra Pacific Power Company, AT&T, and Charter Communications. Several Highway crossing were accomplished by directional drilling.
